  • Method of treatment: treating the invested areas by creating a barrier around the perimeter of the building which ensures that any termites currently feeding off the structure will come in contact with the chemical. We will pressure treat the soil around the structure and the subarea, drill any concrete perimeter were applicable and fill any concrete drill holes with mortar after performing the treatment.

Drywood Termite Control

  • Drywood termite colonies do not need contact with soil, moisture nor any other water source. Drywood termites occur in dry wood that may be above ground level.
  • Drywood termites build colonies in structural wood, fences, utility posts, furniture, moldings, doors, window frames, etc.
  • Fecal pellets are kicked out of the colony by workers and may accumulate below infestations. Fecal pellets have a distinct ridged shape and are about 1/25" long (about the size of table salt).
  • Method of treatment: Primary recommendation would always be to fumigate by covering the entire structure with canvas tents and fumigating with Vikane gas. This process takes 3 days. A localized treatment might be recommended by performing a localized treatment to the infested wood members.
